People using the Vouchie system acknowledge that the following conditions of use shall apply and they agree that they are bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Goods & Services Tax
There is no GST included in the face value of the certificate. The GST is on the product that purchasers buy with their gift certificate.
2. Purchase credit
Where the face value of a Vouchie is more than the value of a product then the balance is at the discretion or under the terms and conditions of the supplier.
4. Complaints
Any problem experienced with a voucher purchase, payment, acceptance or other operational matter should be reported to us at support@vouchie.com.au so we may resolve any difficulties as promptly as possible.
HyperWeb acts as a distributor for suppliers of vouchers sold on this site. Any complaint about the experience purchased should be taken to the supplier in the first instance.
5. Services requiring booking must be booked in advance
Purchasers of Vouchie gift vouchers specifically acknowledge that all experiences must be booked by telephone, the certificate number given and a date agreed to with the supplier. Gift certificates may not be honoured by suppliers without this procedure.
6. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, unless otherwise specified by the vendor.
7. Vouchie gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or any 3rd party voucher.
8. Bound by Suppliers Terms & Conditions
Once customers have made a booking at a restaurant or a supplier vendor using their certificate they will be bound by the suppliers terms and conditions and cancellation procedures. You may forfeit your gift certificate if you do not follow these procedures.
9. Right to Cancel
Vouchie reserves the right to cancel a gift voucher purchase if the customer can not be contacted on the billing phone number.
1. Correct descriptions
Suppliers must take all reasonable care in descriptions of products and services. No claim should be made which cannot be demonstrated to certificate holders on arrival.
2. Copy of certificate
Supplier certificates will not be provided via the system until agreed upon. Suppliers will receive a copy of each voucher purchased and are liable for the management and reconciliation of each certificate with redemption. Forged or stolen vouchers redeemed by Suppliers are at the risk and responsibility of the supplier.
3. Lawful purpose
Suppliers agree to use vouchie.com.au only for lawful purposes. Users are prohibited from posting on or transmitting any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, profane, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind, including but not limited to any material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law whatsoever.
4. Sole arbiter
Vouchie reserves the right to discontinue the supply of a product and this shall be at its sole discretion.
5. Voucher Tampering
On Voucher purchase, we (Vouchie), the business owners, and the recipient, all receive an exact copy of the voucher. Businesses should cross reference the Voucher ID, with their own record of the voucher details before redeeming at Point of Sale. Vouchie is not liable for any losses incurred by the business for redeeming a voucher that has had voucher details tampered with.
6. Fees & Charges
Vouchie processes payments via Stripe, and collects a percentage of 1.75% of each purchase to cover the transaction fees levied by Stripe. The applicable fee will be deducted from each payment prior to funds clearing into the supplier’s account. These rates are based on Stripe’s transaction fees and are therefore subject to change without notice.
Alternatively suppliers may elect to pass on this processing fee to the purchaser by arrangement with Vouchie.
7. Credit Card Fraud
In order to prevent our businesses from losses from a voucher being purchased by a stolen credit card, Vouchie will contact the voucher purchaser when the amount is excessive or there are other suspicious indicators on the purchase.The purchaser will be contacted via the phone number and email address provided by the purchaser on voucher purchase.
Any suspicious voucher purchases over $100 will be alerted to the business owner with the voucher ID. The business should not redeem this voucher if presented at their point of sale. Vouchie will not pass on the funds taken on suspicious voucher purchasers until confirmed as legitimate with the purchaser.
The business owner is also encouraged to contact any purchaser of a voucher where they feel the purchase may be suspicious. Vouchie is not liable for any losses incurred by the business due to a voucher being purchased with a stolen credit card.
